1989 Kawasaki Jet Mate

Here’s a happy little boat. This clowned-sized attention getter is a 1989 Kawasaki Jet Mate. It actually seats three in a sort of fan boat configuration, and it looks decidedly like a motorized paddle boat with an extra seat upfront. I love the 6-inch-tall forward-facing windshield. And obviously the fact that it’s driven with a joy stick. I suppose that’s fitting for a boat that’s about as streamlined and aerodynamic as Pac-Man. It has a few minor issues, but it has a solid motor and is in good conditional overall. And it’s not like you’re going to be using your Kawasaki Jet Mate to tow a water ski pyramid in your local show. It’s more suited to pulling a small monkey in a red vest on little trick skis. Regardless, you’ll have fun with it. It’s located in Lindley, New York, and you can Buy It Now for $3,650.

You gotta love a boat that’s controlled by the same mechanism with which you battled Donkey Kong.

This 1989 Kawasaki Jet Mate looks like it took its boxy style cues from a 1967 Evinrude Bobcat snowmobile. Very Nice.
